What will my payment be??? Find an easy to use mortgage calculator!

One of the top concerns for homebuyers is how much will the monthly payment be? This is especially a concern if you are comparing town homes to single family because the association fees can vary. If you are considering homes in different cities the amount of taxes can also vary widely. It is great to have an easy to use mortgage calculator for on the spot estimates. Here are my two favorites.

The best thing about this site is that even though there are advertisements they don’t appear at the top. You are not forced to enter any personal information! You can easily add home value (the sale price), down payment, taxes, etc and then hit compare to see a break down of your payment. It will even automatically add estimated PMI if you have less than 20% down. There are all kinds of extra features like being able to compare a 30year to a 15 year. This is an easy site to use making it one of my favorites.

Homespotter

The next place I look for estimates of mortgage payments is the home spotter app which you can find here: https://app.homespotter.com/?asr=1&sui=17298332 

This app is my FAVORITE home search tool. In addition to a fabulous map feature, it also shows accurate MLS listing information.  When you click on a home, it will show an estimated monthly payment. Just scroll all the way down to the bottom of the app. Click on “Estimated Mortgage Payments” and then you can adjust the input amounts with easy sliders to match your situation. Even better is that Homespotter is a Minnesota based company! Awesome.
